To complete the job, you will need to put on gloves, and use some sort of vacuum. Before beginning any work on the furnace, be sure to shut off the power and shut off to the gas shutoff valve.

Step 1: Replace the furnace.

Every 3 to 6 month the furnace’s filter needs to be changed. You can remove the filter, and clean or change it according to the instruction manual instructions./p2. Clean and check.

Clean the inside of the unit take off the top panel. If you spot a crack or flaw in the heat exchanger, be certain to speak to a skilled. Consult a qualified professional if notice any burn marks or burned wires on the burner’s assembly, as well.

Step 3: Clean the Blower.

First, remove the panel covering for the blower. After disconnecting all the wires take off the cover covering the panel. Unplug the blower, then clean it with a brush and vacuum. Reinstall the blower and control board. Place it on top of the panel.

Step 4: Attach the furnace.

Be sure that the panel is completely aligned and securely secured. Turn on the furnace’s power by closing the valve for gas.
